Seriously, don't we all hear voices in our head? I mean do any of us think in braille..... When your spouse discovers you spent a few hundred more dollars than you first said,.....doesn't your brain scream out words, you know stuff like: "....oh shit...." ".....I'm busted....." ".....good thing the couch is comfy....." and my personal favorite, ".....oh fuck...." Bottom line is we all have heard voices in our heads.....none of which gave us an excuse to kill our kids.
The problem with America.... (Ok, ok.....one of the problems) is we have normalized "Word Games." Remember when Bill Clinton said, ".....it depends on your definition of the word IS....." Lawyers make careers out of playing word games....
On Facebook keyboard warriors play word games to defend their arguments...... There are 35,000 different Christian religions because pastors want to play word games to make the Bible say what they want you to believe....
Recently we have all witnessed Lindsay Clancy and her legal team play games with words..... What would your grand parents say about the situation (I mean besides fry the bitch)...... they would say crazy isn't an excuse! Then they would mention your crazy uncle Ted, you know the one that got kicked in the head by a horse and was never right again..... Even Uncle Teddy knew not to kill his kids....
Hmm, notice I didn't mention Ted Kennedy, ......but then again he killed a girl and just ignored the situation......
America needs to stop playing word games, period. Sins should be sins, crimes should be crimes and murderers should pay with their lives......
