Last week the Captains on the Lutheran South varsity football team proclaimed the team would begin the 2026 season with a WIN over rival Duchesne's Pioneers. It was a bold claim and in short time a wager came into pay.
If the Duchesne Pioneers won the game, I would shave the heads of our 3 senior captains. However, if the Lutheran South Lancers came out on top, the team captains would lead the team in shaving my head.....
I was optimistic......until the Lancers put up 42 unanswered points in the first 24:10 minutes of the game.
