Have you enjoyed an Olive Loaf sandwich lately.....? It has been years since the taste of French's mustard cleansed my pallet so I could enjoy the taste of a Wonder bread sandwich loaded with Boar's Head Olive loaf.....
I can no longer find olive loaf in the greater St. Louis area..... WTF. Are you seriously going to tell me a store stacked for to ceiling with sardines can't handle a little olive loaf for those of us that grew up on the motley colored slice of heavenly produced bologna which has hidden away whole olives....
For years Schnuck's Grocery stores were my go to place to pick up my favorite lunch meats....one of which was olive loaf. However, since the pandemic it seems the meat case is full of ham, bologna and turkey seasoned by various herbs and spices..... Maybe the buyer has a few extra drinks and orders pickle loaf on occasion....otherwise ham is in your lunch bag.......
What food outside of ham, turkey and bologna are you taking for lunch....?
