Last night was a GREAT reminder that we as humans are apart of the world....and not separate from it! Red took a couple steps outside the door and braced up (like he was a bad-ass....he isn't) I quickly walked out behind him hoping it wasn't a skunk....and probably expecting a deer. I have walked out before and had a deer within 15 feet of our backdoor.....
What I found was a large coyote..... The coyote was a liberal democrat animal.....I know because it instantly assumed Red was an Assault Red (model AR-K9).....and clearly wanted Red to be banned..... because no city dweller should own an Australian heeler......
Being the manly man I am I stepped in front of Red and said, "....run you SOB, and the coyote walked away....." maybe I'm not scary...... Walked, hmm I felt a little disrespected.
