Story time:..... what is the perfect home? I don't think the perfect home is a reality........
Our home sits on 35 acres, we back to a float river and own three small lakes. Without leaving our property you can hunt, fish, ride ATV's, play basketball, baseball, volleyball, football and even wrestling. We have had archery and even shot skeet in the backyard. If I don't want to see a neighbor....I don't have too.
Sound perfect......well it lacks few things. It is a 14 mile drive to get a gallon of milk......what?.....you don't drink milk.....well it's the same drive for beer or even a bottle of water. Need the hospial, well there is a hospital just 15 miles away,....oh you want a good hospital.....well you may have to drive a little further.
Love the beach, yeah me too.....it takes about 12 hours to get to the ocean.... You don't like the scenic views, you are in luck Kansas is just a few hours away. One of my favorite places on earth is South Dakota....but its 15 hours to see the good stuff.....
An hour in the car, plus a few minutes and a couple hours on a plane and you can see Mexico..... or in St. Louis just visit Cherokee street.... or maybe just get your grass cut......
I love our home in the country there are some great people that live out here! I don't think the schools are that great.....and though some locals would argue with me, they'd be wrong.
There are some great things about living in St. Louis,......great food, the Cardinals....you can always find something to do. The finer things in life....and redneck stuff too. I know a "pharmacist" named Tyrone that offers home delivery and great prices on anything you might want if you give him a day or two to arrange for "shipping".......
So where and what is the perfect home? The answer is easy.....the perfect home is the one that holds the people you love. A house doesn't need to be new, or big. You can look out and see the ocean or the mountains, maybe a field or even just the "Bitch that lives over there,"..... so long as you can see the people you love, it is the perfect home!
