I remember Logan's first game like it was yesterday......he was just 8 years old and filled with excitement. The dream was to play in the major leagues, and nothing about his first start would suggest anything else would be his future.
At age 8 Logan featured a fastball that brought fear to hitters and their mothers alike. Primarily because only God knew where it was going..... and a knuckle curve that broke well over 18 inches, a thing of beauty to watch. It was clear Logan was at home on the mound, the baseball field in general was paradise for father and son. Through the years we would spend countless hours learning the game and living the dream.
The sad thing about dreams is sooner or later you wake up..... I don't want to wake up, I hope Logan gets to live his dream as long as he wants..... These days it seems he knows where his fastball is going, though the moms still seem to have their concerns.
