Not every decision we make is life altering and seldom is the answer written in stone, I spent a few minutes people watching this morning and found their actions fascinating.
The little gravel road before me contained countless potholes, some filled with water, others just packed full of air guaranteed to jar your teeth or at least splash your coffee. Having just driven the route I believed my path was the correct one..... However, I watched a dozen folks all faced with the same path and each chose a slightly different course through the pitfalls of the road.
Some tried to avoid the holes by going to the right, others steered to the left. One teenager who clearly isn't paying for his own vehicle split the difference mud flying high into the air as his body bounced higher with every splash of the muddy water.
The walkers may have been the most interesting, walking as if they were on a tight-rope where one wrong step would send them tumbling to the earth below. It truly was a fascinating vision, especially so when I realized how it mirrored life..... We all have a journey to travel, the adventure changing with decisions made at every bump and turn.
